Benrus Type 1 LE 0290/1000 Re-issue with papers and case

sold out

Up for sale is my Benrus Type 1 LE Re-issue purchased from Hodinkee in December 2020. Includes zipper case, outer cardboard and original paperwork, etc. Serial number 0290/1000 and mounted on the stock Benrus black nylon two piece — which wears nicely. I love the watch, wore it often and have always enjoyed Type 1 style watches, with this one by far my favourite owned in the space (every MKII variant imaginable). Proportions are great and it’s a perfect weekend or vacation watch. I’m not a big timing accuracy guy, as I switch watches like socks, but I’ve never noticed anything abnormal and would conclude it runs well within spec for the ETA caliber used.
